Tips for beginnners from Roisin:

1. Getting started is the hardest part

2.In your first few classes you don't have to do the same as everyone else- bring it back and take an easy option (all the teachers give them!) use the free blocks and straps or even the wall.

3. Focus on your progress rather than always having to do better

4.Go for it- get started it will change your life and rejuvenate your joints!

Roisin has been a part of our Adapted family for 15 months. She is one of the loveliest people you can meet and is always working. It has been so inspiring watching her progress both physically and mentally, here's her story.

"I started at Adapted just over a year ago to sort out a few niggles. I wanted to feel stronger and more flexible. To be honest I am so surprised that I have stuck with these classes as I have a bit of a history of not sticking with exercise!

I love the variety of the different teachers, styles and facilities. I always feel supported and like that I am shown personally what to do for my body. Although I have had a rough year with being made redundant, coming to Adapted has helped me feel more at peace."
